Conscious Shipping & Made-to-Order Philosophy
At CulturEx, we move a little slower to ensure we tread lightly on the planet. To minimize overproduction and reduce waste, many of our heritage pieces are made-to-order specifically for you.
1. Order Processing & Crafting
Once your order is placed, it enters our studio for preparation.
- Processing Time: Please allow 1-3 days for us to curate, quality-check, or finish crafting your items.
- Dispatch: As soon as your piece is ready, we ship it immediately via express air freight to ensure the fastest possible transit from China to your country.
2. Transparent Delivery (No Hidden Fees)
- United Kingdom: 7–10 business days (via Royal Mail Tracked).
- EU & Canada: 7–12 business days (via DHL or DPD Tracked).
- Other Countries: Depends on specific country, anywhere between 7–20 business days.
- All Taxes & Duties Paid: You do not need to worry about import fees or VAT. We cover all taxes and customs duties on your behalf—the price you see at checkout is the final price you pay.
Tracking: All our delivery use tracked delivery service to ensure a smooth and trustworthy experience. A tracking number will be provided via email as soon as your orders are on their way.
3. Returns & Exchanges
In our effort to reduce carbon emissions and shipping waste, we operate with a focused return policy. Shipping individual items back and forth across the globe has a significant environmental impact.
Important: We do not accept returns for change-of-mind or incorrect sizing.
How to shop with confidence:
- Check the Details: Please review size guides and material descriptions carefully.
- Ask Us Anything: If you are unsure about a fit, color, or design, please email us at [email protected]. We are happy to help you choose the perfect piece before it’s made!
- Artisanal Variations: Many items are handmade. Slight variations in finish are the unique "fingerprints" of the artist and the soul of the craft.
For hygiene and safety reasons, we also cannot accept returns for the following:
- Opened Tea or Food: Any food products once the seal is broken.
- Personal Wear: Intimate apparel, undergarments, or inner layers of clothing for hygiene reasons.
- Special Sale Items: Products marked as "Final Sale" or clearly stated as non-returnable in the product description.
Mistakes & Faulty Items
We personally inspect every item, but if we make a mistake or if your order arrives damaged:
- Contact us immediately with a photo of the product and the packaging.
- We will arrange a full refund or a replacement.

As a small, independent business, we pour our hearts into every piece we select for you. Unlike mass-produced factory items, many of our heritage crafts are handmade or finished by artisans. This means that slight variations in color, texture, or finish may occur—these are not flaws, but the unique "fingerprints" of the artist and the soul of the craft.
